Guided Tour AT1 Amorgos in a Nutshell

This tour will take you around the island, allowing you to enjoy a scenic drive with superb views to the Aegean Sea and surrounding islands. The highlight of the trip is the visit to the 1000-year old Monastery of Chozoviotissa, an impressive structure nested in the cliffs 300 meters above the sea. We will also visit the Byzantine Convent of Agios Georgios Valsamitis, built upon the ruins of an ancient water oracle.
Depending on our point of departure, our tour will also include:

• From Aegiali: Chora, visit to the botanical park
• From Katapola: Chora, Langada, meal break in Aegiali
• From Chora: Katapola, Langada, meal break in Aegiali

During summer season: the visit to the botanical park is replaced by a swim at Mouros. Tours starting from Katapola or Chora, have a swimming break in Aegiali.

• ⚠MONASTERY DRESSING CODE
  To enter monasteries, visitors are required to wear long trousers/skirts and cover their shoulders. Even though clothes might be available at the entrance, we recommend you bring your own. Women’s skirts/dresses/pareos must cover the knees. Trousers are not allowed for women.
