Learn how to roll your own traditional Naxian pie and enjoy a peaceful picnic under the oak trees.
Nested between fertile areas and marble quarries, the village of Kinidaros is one of the most interesting locations of Naxos due to its varied landscape. We will meet at the bakery of Tselentis family, standing in the village for the last 70 years. Inside the bakery, a huge wooden oven bakes more than 200 kilos of bread every day, spreading its mesmerising aroma. Antonis, the third generation of bakers, will share his table with us and initiate us in how to roll our pies –the most authentic pies on the island! In continuation, we will choose delicacies and find our perfect corner for our picnic under the oak trees. In case of advert weather or mobility issues, we can enjoy our picnic at the yard of the bakery.
