Hiking Tour MW2 The Kissing Rock

An easy route to Fokos beach with very easy terrain for all age groups, also offering the option to extend the hike to either Myrsini beach and its traditional chapel or the panoramic view path along the coastal line. We take mainly unpaved back roads and we walk alongside the water reservoir of Ano Mera, in order to reach the spectacular beach of Fokos. Once there, depending on your hiking pace and the chosen beach activities, we can spend up to 1 hour, before returning back from the same way. During our beach break, we offer homemade organic lemonade and a snack, and allow free time to select among the following beach activities:

• Swimming
• Underwater photo shooting by the tour leader, who will become your personal photographer
• Sunbathing
• Extra hiking options: a) for 15-30 minutes at a beautiful trail above the coastal line with panoramic views and/or b) to the neighbouring beach of Myrsini for photo shooting and an optional visit to a traditional chapel, where we can rest under the shade and share more locals’ stories.

  Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses (for children too), comfortable clothing (long pants are recommended), hiking shoes or trainers with a good grip, swimming suit, dry underwear and a light towel (weather permitting to swim), jacket (in case of cool weather), waterproof jacket (when weather is rainy), backpack.

  Optionally: beach shoes (to feel more comfortable walking on pebbles), goggles
  Ideally: reusable bottles for us to fill them with cold water, avoiding the use of plastic single-use and environmentally unfriendly bottles
