A challenging route that will reward you with excellent views and the crystal clear waters of Lia beach.
We first start our tour with a visit at a traditional chapel, where we have the opportunity to explore Mykonos’ traditions and locals’ tales. After riding a demanding uphill, we disappear in the traditional donkey paths, off roading and enjoying the untouched rural landscapes, before coasting down to our destination beach. Our stop for relaxation, sunbathing, swimming and underwater photo shooting, Lia beach, is a truly beautiful, organized, yet quiet beach. After enjoying our beach activities, we will be refreshed with homemade organic lemonade and tempted by a traditional dessert, offering us the appropriate energy boost for the forthcoming hilly challenge! Of course, what goes down must come up; so the way back from Lia beach will give you bragging rights for your accomplishment in conquering this tour’s steep inclines.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The roadway to Lia beach might be a bit busy during the peak summer season, so this tour isn’t appropriate for riders who do not feel confident on their bikes as cars drive by.
Optionally: beach shoes (to feel more comfortable walking on pebbles), goggles
Ideally: reusable bottles for us to fill them with cold water, avoiding the use of plastic single-use and environmentally unfriendly bottles
